A view of the station and yard area at Nyborg, taken from the signal box window at Nyborg No2. The other end of the station was controlled by No1 box, which can just be made out in the distance beyond the island platform awning.

Nyborg is on the island of Funen and is the ferry terminal for the service over the Great Belt from Korsor. The terminal is behind the cameraman, this view looks towards Odense.

The box contained a large double-wire frame manufactured by Bruschal, which was installed in 1910. At the far end of the frame, Siemens & Halske block apparatus can be seen.
