A view looking west along the C&NW single line past the elderly timber-built signal tower known as Tower CK. Beyond the tower, the line is crossed by the double track of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St Paul and Pacific railroad.

The Train order signals are cleared in both directions on the North Western line, but both are at danger on the Milwaukee lines.
